CYK Nutrition is a London-based nutrition consultancy founded and directed by registered nutritionist Ceren Yavuz-Kolzeev. At CYK Nutrition, our goal is empowering people to improve their health and wellbeing through nutrition, as well as creating a healthier food environment for the public. This focus comes as a result of years of first-hand professional experience of the importance of the food environment in whether an individual is going to achieve their wellbeing goals.

Ceren Yavuz-Kolzeev, BSc (Hons), MSc, RNutr, CISSN 

 

Ceren was born and raised in the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey and moved to London, UK in her early twenties to further her education in Nutrition. She founded CYK Nutrition in 2016.

 

Ceren specializes in weight management, nutrition for chronic diseases such as PCOS, performance (sport & exercise) nutrition and non-diet nutrition. She is registered with the Association for Nutrition (RNutr), holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Boğaziçi University, the top university of Turkey and two Master’s degrees in Nutrition (Clinical and Public Health) from University of Westminster and University of Roehampton. She also holds the world renowned Sports Nutrition certificate, CISSN. She is a member of the Nutrition Society and enjoys following the cutting edge nutrition science and developing her knowledge by professional development courses, attending conferences and keeping up-to-date with the latest research.

 

She has successfully consulted hundreds of clients from 20+ countries online and has written for several Turkish magazines including Harper’s Bazaar and Women’s Health Turkey. She is also quite active on Instagram and is one of the very few evidence-based nutritionists producing content in Turkish.

Dilan Bektaşoğlu, BSc (Hons)

 

Dilan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Acibadem University, Turkey. During the course she became increasing ly interested in the field and decided to continue her education by pursuing a two-year Master’s degree at the same university. She also worked as a graduate assistant during the first year of the MSc. Around that time, she has come to realise that the profession she has so aspired to join is not governed by rigid ethical standards and thus often does not benefit the clients. Because of this, she decided to move to London to pursue her career aspirations and to find work that is aligned with true ethical values of her profession. She joined CYK Nutrition in October 2019.

 

Dilan specializes in weight management and nutrition for chronic diseases. She is a member of the Nutrition Society and has been attending national and international conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest scientific proceedings.
